Day 2 - Pearl Harbor & Honolulu sightseeing & at leisure
Following a private gathering about Hawaii and your vacation, headout to Pearl Harbor for a visit to the USS Arizona and pay tributeto those military personnel still entombed in her hull from thefatal attack of December 7, 1941. Next is Punchbowl NationalMemorial Cemetery of the Pacific followed by Downtown Honolulu.View the Iolani Palace, official residence of Hawaii''s lastmonarchs, the State Capitol and King Kamehameha Statue. You''ll alsoget a chance to learn and see how Hawaii''s rare and precious coralsare harvested, graded and crafted into unique island jewelrydesigns at a local coral workshop. Day 3 - Oahu - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Kona (2 nights)
Fly to Hilo and head for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site. Hear about the fiery formation of the HawaiianIslands millions of years ago. After a Highlight Lunch at theVolcano House, stop at Kilauea Volcano, one of the most activevolcanoes on earth. Learn how scientists study volcanoes during avisit to the Jaggar Museum, where you also have the rareopportunity to walk through a lava tube.
